An interesting fact about Janet Evanovich is that she has written books under two pseudonyms. She has written romance novels under the pen name Steffie Hall, and she has written the Alexandra Barnaby series under the name of her daughter, Alex Evanovich.

She started writing romance novels in the 1980s before switching to adventure-mystery novels. Her first Stephanie Plum novel, “One for the Money,” was published in 1994 and became a bestseller, launching her career as a successful author. Since then, Evanovich has continued to churn out captivating novels with humor and fast-paced plots.

The Stephanie Plum series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. The popular series tracks the character Stephanie Plum, a bounty hunter from Trenton, New Jersey.

A new addition to the series, “Dirty Thirty” (Stephanie Plum #30), is coming out Fall 2023.
